This is my current platform priority - subject to change as per your support:

  1. To represent the citizens of Asgardia.
  2. To protect and ensure the founding principals of Asgardia are upheld by the new governments and parliaments.
    1. To establish protocols for future governments and parliaments.
    2. To establish protocols for diplomats.
  3. To develop and protect Asgardian rights and freedoms.
    1. To ensure the Asgardian parliament remain transparent.
    2. To establish consequences for elected representatives who divert from their platform.
  4. To evolve Asgardia as a kingdom of peace and prosperity representing the collective desires of many, if not all, cultures - similar to Gene Roddenberry's United Federation of Planets.
    1. To establish protocols for first contact, colonization and extraplanetary travel. Including, but not limited to, polution containment and contamination minimization and debris cleanup.
    2. To establish embassies across the globe.
    3. To establish policies around work and commerce between Asgardians.
    4. To found the Library of Asgardia, University of Asgardia, and establish acredation policies.
    5. To discuss taxation. Let me just say tax the rich, help the poor.
    6. To arbitrate disputes, especially in regard to off-world activities.
    7. To get the Solar, our currency, established.
    8. To develop grants and scholorships for the advancement of Asgardian citizens.
    9. To support and develop 'universal basic income' for all Asgardian citizens.
    10. To contribute to earthly nations in need.
    11. To gain recognition by the U.N.
  5. To facilitate the development of plans to sustainably colonize an off-world site.
  6. To protect earthly nations with an international corps.

One humanity, One unity

"There can be no justice so long as laws are absolute. Even life itself is an exercise in exceptions."

My first campaign promise is that I will set up a private website for all those who support me as their representative. (PM me for access) This site will allow each of my supporters to securely and confidentially vote on every aspect of my platform and policies, as well as keep up to date on current issues that hold my attention.

If who I have been is important, thorough research should point you to conclusions that I have been studying IT since early childhood, have a logical mind and helpful demeanor, love teaching second only to learning and have little luck with the ladies.

I was taught chess, programming and puzzles in my youth and that it is best to lead by example - a compass that has shaped who I am and will forever be.
"There is a way out of every box, a solution to every puzzle; it's just a matter of finding it."

I believe in equal rights among all sentient life. I find that it is usually easier to do than undo, so it is best to weigh all foreseen options. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we reach out to other planets and stars and I long for the chance.

Through teaching adults web development I've learned what it takes to inspire and lead and what it feels like to help others succeed. But who I am, and try to be, should be far less important than my those qualities that would make me a good representative of your interests in Asgardia, so I outline those below.

My personality is Virgo, INTJ - Cold, logical, calculating and analytical Virgo, often mistaken for cyborgs both in efficiency and demeanor, coupled with INTJ, the mastermind. For those of you aren't familiar with Myers-Briggs - despite thinking I've changed significantly over the years I continuously test INTJ. My IQ is approximately 128 (been a while since I tested, and I suppose it's gone down with age) but I don't believe IQ to be a true test of intelligence, merely pattern recognition (do history and biology for example have nothing to do with intelligence???), but that's my 2 cents and I offer no solution.

I also believe freedom of expression should be limited only by hate. Every sentience, despite even extreme dedication to a belief, has the right to believe whatever they choose. This right extends to the freedom to act in accordance with those beliefs so long as they do not interfere with the rights of another sentience. This right, like any other should be defended whenever threatened at any other cost.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

I want to ensure accountability and transparency are a priority for our collective. I want to ensure every citizen has their say, and that it is as informed as possible, this requires transparency in our governing. I'm also sick of politicians who make promises they don't keep, I wan't to ensure there are consequences for misleading constituents. I also want to ensure the sanctity of the vote is pure and incorruptible, this requires strong security, and perhaps even an overhaul of our voting platform which allows you to confirm your vote is counted and that votes remain untampered. (see my website for an example)
"Things are only impossible until they're not!"

Canada's presence in Asgardia is practically non-existent, which I think is tragic as we have a strong heritage based in multiculturalism and providing foreign aid (no not perfect, sorry natives). I want to promote Asgardia to my fellow Canadians as more than just another member supporting an abstract idea.

I realize many of the Canadians who do want to be a part of Asgardia don't have the time, so my website will act as a portal to all Asgardian articles related to Canada and recent news and events, as well as a calendar for known upcoming events, both local and abroad.

I also reside in Ottawa, an ideal location to found the first Asgardian Embassy in Canada.

Let's make sure history never forgets the name ... Asgardia!
